Appreciation letter for sponsored music students at the local school in Kent UK!
I wanted to let you know how your donations have helped music making here at Beths over the past year. As you will remember, your donations went out to four students here at Beths.
The first student to be given the scholarship is a year 11 boy taking Music GCSE. Prior to your donation, he had had limited formal lessons, due to family constraints. Your donations helped him improve by two grade levels in his performance for his music GCSE, allowing him to be able to access the full grade boundaries, something he couldn’t have done without your support.
The second student to receive funding is in key stage 3 and is currently continuing to learn to play the piano and has weekly lessons.
The third student who received financial support from you was in key stage 4 and sadly was unable to continue his drum lessons after the scholarship had finished due to family circumstances.
The fourth and final student has made amazing progress. He began by taking saxophone lessons with the support from your organisation. He is a very able student, who couldn’t previously play the saxophone. He not only has grown from your support, but he has already started to perform in school concerts on the saxophone, both in small chamber groups and our school band.
I wanted to say a huge thank you for supporting us here at Beths and our students who have the desire to make music. If there is any chance that you may be able to continue to support our students financially, then we would love to continue to work with your organisation in order to help students create music. Please do be in touch if there could be any further opportunities. We could also come and support any functions you may have up and coming with some performers, if that would be suitable.
All in all, we wouldn’t have seen our students grow musically without your support and we truly appreciate it.
